The curious rock formations at Brimham in Nidderdale are scattered over some 50 acres on Brimham Moor and provide a great variety of weird and wonderful shapes.


Fountains Abbey


Fountains Abbey with Studley Royal Water Garden, four miles west of Ripon in North Yorkshire, is of outstanding historic and aesthetic importance.


How Stean Gorge


In the gorge, narrow paths and footbridges cross the sleep-sided ravine, which is 25 metres deep in places. Depending on the weather, water rushes over large boulders carving them into fantastic shapes.
